Donate Items for Used Book Sales

Donations for used book sales may be dropped off at the library’s Circulation Desk at any time. The Friends look for quality adult and children’s books in good condition, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, music (CDs and albums). Encyclopedia sets, old computer software and manuals, weekly magazines, or damaged, musty or outdated materials cannot be accepted. Please box or bag your donations.

Mission Statement

Our association aspires to help stimulate the child, motivate the adolescent, educate the adult, and sustain the elderly in our community, within the world of books and ever-changing information technology.

The Friends of the Winnebago Public Library is an organization that raises funds to provide gifts (programs, materials, equipment) for the library. The Friends sponsor two yearly used book sales. They’ve raised and distributed more than $50,000 for library materials, programming, equipment, and furniture and for scholarships for library district students.
